AP Calculus AB practice tests and worksheets by unit

Exam-style practice for each unit of AP Calculus AB: 20 multiple-choice questions per unit, split into a no-calculator Part A and a calculator Part B the way the exam is, and four free-response questions per unit, each scored out of 9 points with a scoring guide. Which kinds of question appear, and how many of each, comes from how often the official College Board exams have asked them; the questions are our own. Every set comes with an answer key or scoring guide and a printable PDF, free to use in class.

Questions about the AP Calculus AB worksheets

Two practice sets per unit of the course. The multiple-choice sheet has 20 original questions in the exam format, with a no-calculator Part A and a calculator Part B. The free-response set has four multi-part questions scored out of 9 points like the exam, with a scoring guide that says what earns each point. Both come with a PDF, and a mixed free-response set across the units is shaped like Section II of the exam.

We tagged 760 official multiple-choice questions from 17 College Board exams (1969–2018) and the free-response questions from 1969 to 2026 by the kind of question they ask, then weighted each kind by how often and how recently the exam asks it. Each sheet gives the most-tested kinds the most questions, and each free-response set draws its settings (a table of a rate, a particle, the graph of f′, a region, a differential equation) by how often the exam uses them. The questions themselves are written by us; none is copied from an exam.

All 8 units of the course, from Limits and Continuity (Unit 1) to Applications of Integration (Unit 8). Every sheet passed the same answer checks before it was published.
